$2.7 Million Adjusted EBITDA Improvement on 22% Quarterly Revenue Growth

SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 7 /eMediaWorld/ -- FiberTower Corporation
(Nasdaq: FTWR), a wireless backhaul services provider, today reported
results for the quarter ended June 30, 2008.

Service revenues for the three months ended June 30, 2008 increased
$2.2 million, or 22%, to $11.9 million compared to $9.7 million for the
first quarter of 2008. The increase in service revenues during the second
quarter of 2008 was driven by new billing customers at existing sites, the
expansion of billing sites and the addition of new billing T-1 equivalents
and other bandwidth services."
